Wendy Froud was one of the artists at The Truth About Faeries exhibition I went to in Carlise. Now I know I've seen some of her work I keep coming across her name so i decided to do a little more research.
Named after the Wendy in Peter Pan, Wendy Froud has been a sculptor an puppet maker since childhood. She has worked with Jim Henderson on films such as The Dark Crystal, Labyrinthand The Empire Strikes Back, sculpting Jen and Kira for The Dark Crystal and Yoda in theEmpire Strikes Back.
